Harborstone Credit Union Is Financially Sound, Solid, And Here To Stay

Uncertainty. The world is filled with it; especially, in the financial sector. It's a fact that all financial institutions, as most companies and industries, are seeing a slowdown in their normal business. Some have had to face severe losses and even closure. That along with the general economic slowdown prompts questions about the health and safety of any bank or credit union.

One thing is certain - Harborstone Credit Union is financially sound, solid and here to stay. Sure, our normal business is slower today than last year. But we do not face any of the severe losses other institutions have who made sub-prime loans. The reason is simple: We felt those loans were not the right thing to do for our members.

For 53 years we have served South Sound residents as members and owners of Harborstone, and we have never forgotten our reason for being - to take care of our members better than anyone else.

So, let us help you face the uncertainties ahead with a little extra care and concern we love to give our members.

For example, your deposit accounts are now insured at Harborstone up to $500,000. That's right - $500,000. And we have low/no risk choices for your money with competitive rates and then some.

It's been a privilege to be here for our members since the 1950s. We're ready to help you now, too, and we hope, give you some peace of mind.
