Now that you've stated what and when you want to accomplish your goals (Objectives), and how you intend to accomplish your goals (Strategies), you need to establish when you will execute your strategies and how much it will cost. This will result in a BUDGET and a CALENDAR for your marketing plan. Your tactics will outline your activities over the next year to properly execute your marketing plan. Good marketing is a science, not just a collection of good ideas. Ideas are good. However, ideas need to be planned and tested for effectiveness. A marketing plan should be measured continually and adjusted to maximize results. It may sound simple, but if you do less of what is not effective and more of what is, you will be well on your way to accomplishing your marketing objectives and reaching your business goals.
