Harborstone Believes

In the spirit of corporate giving, Harborstone believes:

  • We are a part of an extended family of members, employees, and the community.
  • It is important to provide financial and volunteer support to our community to strengthen it for future generations.
  • Through financial education, healthy living, the empowerment of small businesses, and the safekeeping of our military families, we can continue to keep our community a vibrant and wonderful place to live.

Harborstone Supports

Below is a list of the areas that are eligible to receive corporate gifts.

Financial Literacy and Education: By increasing financial knowledge in our communities, we hope to empower our communities and assist them in achieving economic success, for this generation and the next.

Military Families: We also recognize that Harborstone exists because of the support of our military members. We feel that it is a core part of our mission to aid in their success and protect their future.

Community Safety: We believe that strong communities cannot exist without safety. To that end, we support programs and civic organizations that assist in providing for our common security.

Family Health and Welfare: Harborstone exists because of family: the families we serve in our community and the extended families of our members. We support organizations that strengthen these bonds.

Small Business Education: Small businesses are the heart of the community of the South Puget Sound, providing local jobs, wealth, and opportunities for our members. We support the growth of business.

As a member-owned credit union, Harborstone understands how important is to be inclusive and welcoming to our diverse members. For this reason, Harborstone Credit Union does not support religious groups or organizations, political lobbies or campaigns, individuals, organizations practicing unlawful discriminatory practices, trips or tours, conferences, or team sponsorships.
