New membership must include a savings account with a minimum $5 opening balance. The promotional rate applies for 60 days from account opening, after which the rate will revert to the standard 2.01% APY. Rates are subject to change at any time. Offer is available for both personal and business accounts and requires new money (money not on deposit with Harborstone Credit Union), with a minimum opening deposit of $1,000 for personal accounts and $10,000 for business accounts. A daily average minimum balance of $1,000 for personal accounts is required to avoid an $8 monthly service fee and $10,000 for business accounts to avoid a $10 monthly service fee.
