Extended Overdraft Protection

Sometimes, your account balance may not be enough to cover a transaction. When this happens, an overdraft occurs. In some cases, Harborstone may still pay the transaction for you—helping you avoid a declined purchase.

You automatically receive a savings only transfer option with your checking account. This means:

• If you have enough money in your savings account, we’ll transfer it to cover the transaction.
• No overdraft fee is charged for this transfer.

Our Take Ten service helps with small shortfalls:

• Covering overdrafts of $10 or less.
• Your account must not go below negative $10 total.
• No overdraft fee is charged.
• Not available for business accounts.
