Yes. Harborstone offers several types of loans that can be used to consolidate debt, depending on your goals and financial situation. Whether you're looking to simplify multiple payments, lower your interest rate, or free up monthly cash flow, we have options that can help. You can request a due date change only once during the life of the loan with the following conditions:

• The due date change must be within 15 days of the existing due date.
• The loan must be in current standing, and current payments must not be due and/or late.
• You must have made at least one payment on the loan.

The following loans cannot have a due date change:

• Second Mortgages
• Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC)
• Personal Lines of Credit (PLOC)
• Short-Term Loans
• Business Loans
• Green and Solar Cash Loans

The easiest way to make your payment is to register for Online Banking and use our Transfers, External Payments, or Bill Pay tools. Find instructions below. If you are not an Online Banking user, choose one of the following payment options:

• Pay online with an external account or debit card with Guest Pay. There is a $14 service charge for this service.
• Pay over the phone. Call Member Services at 1-800-523-3641 and use a credit card, debit card, or external bank account information. There is a $14 fee for this service.
• Make a payment in person. Pay with cash, check, money order, or Visa at any Harborstone branch. Make your check or money order payable to Harborstone Credit Union, and be sure to include your loan number on the memo line.
• Mail your loan payment to P.O. Box 4207, Tacoma, WA 98438-0207. Your loan does not come with loan coupons. Our overnight mailing address is 9611 Gravelly Lake Dr SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.

Online Banking Loan Payment Instructions

1. Online Banking Transfers

To schedule automatic payments using your Harborstone savings or checking account, log in to Online Banking, and select Transfer & Pay.

If paying from a Harborstone account, select "Internal Payment" on the Mobile App or "Internal Transfer & Payment" on the website.

There you will be able to make a one-time payment or setup automatic payments.

2. Bill pay

Using your bill payment account at another financial institution, you may set up Harborstone Credit Union as a payee. Simply provide the other financial institution with your Harborstone loan number (found on your monthly statements) and Harborstone's routing number (325180870).

3. External Payments

If you'd like to set up recurring or a one-time loan payments from an account at another bank or credit union, please follow these steps.

Log in to Online Banking or the Mobile App. 

• In the app, choose Transfer & Pay, then External Payment; In Online Banking (through your web browser), choose Transfer & Pay, then External Payment. 
• Choose Setup AutoPay next to the loan account of your choice or select Pay Now to make a one-time payment 
• Complete the Edit Scheduled Payment or the Make A One-Time Payment fields and click Next. 
• Review the details carefully, then click the button to Agree, then Authorize.

Ready to pay off your loan?

You are welcome to pay off your loan at any time without a prepayment penalty. You can also find payoff information inside your online or Mobile Banking account. In Online Banking, simply click on your loan on the right side of the screen and select, "Account Details." In the Mobile App, click on the Show more drop down for your desired loan. The payoff amount will be listed.

Please note, if you are planning on mailing a check, interest accrues daily, so the amount you see in Online Banking today will not be what is due in a few days when your payment arrives. Please call Member Services to pay off your loan today or receive a 10-day payoff amount. You can also visit your nearest branch for more information.

You have a 15-day grace period after your loan is due to make your payment. A late fee is automatically added on the 16th day past your due date. If you have any questions, please contact us at 1-800-523-3641 or through chat on our website. For account-specific questions, please log in to your Online Banking profile first before connecting via secure chat or secure email.

Yes, you can pay off your loan within your Online Banking, as long as you are paying it off from another one of your Harborstone accounts. If you are paying from an external account, Online Banking offers an option to make external payments. You can make payments up to $2,500, four times per month for free within Online Banking. 

To pay your loan in full, contact Member Services at 1-800-523-3641, or visit the nearest Harborstone branch. Making the payments over the phone or from the guest pay option on our website has a $14 fee.
